FIRE!
On Tuesday, April 6, 2010 (two days after Easter), lightning struck our sanctuary and caused a fire. Initial damage was moderate, but two afternoon flare ups resulted in considerable smoke and water damage throughout the building. As a result, we were unable to use our sanctuary for 4 months while it was gutted and rebuilt. On Sunday, August 15, we Rededicated our building and Dedicated our new organ in a 3:00 PM service; a celebration dinner followed. For pictures and a write-up on the fire, click here: Fire Report
